Discovery Process: Your First Visit

We are often asked, "Can chiropractic help me?"

On your first visit we go through a discovery process with you, to determine the source of your health concerns. This includes:

A detailed Health History with our exam specialist.
A thorough spinal examination, including posture analysis, and motion and static palpation of the spine. We want to determine any abnormal alignment and motion patterns that may be detrimentally affecting the central and peripheral nerve systems and organ function.
Any further imaging studies that may be necessary such as posture analysis, thermal imaging of the spine, surface electromyelography, and x-rays to determine the condition of your spine.

Understanding: Your Second Visit

After the examination, the next step is the Doctor’s Report. The purpose of the Doctor’s Report is to review the findings from your consultation and examination.

At the Doctor’s Report, Dr. Covey will give a detailed overview of how Chiropractic Structural Correction works and the scientific evidence supporting the specialized work that Chiropractors do. This is done in a small group setting with other new patients.

There is tremendous power in you fully understanding your problem and how we will work with you to correct your spine and improve your health!

After the Report, Dr. Covey will privately review the results of your examination and x-rays, letting you know if you are a good candidate for Chiropractic Structural Correction. If you can benefit from Chiropractic care, he will outline a program of care, discussing how long it will take to correct your spine, how often you will come in for adjustments and the financial investment for your correction. At that point you can decide how you would like to proceed.
