Chiropractic Spinal Reconstruction

spinal damage

Damaged for Decades

When the spine becomes misaligned, the body begins to lay down scar tissue soon after.  With time, layer upon layer of scar tissue builds up.  By the time neck pain, back pain, headaches, and other symptoms develop, there is often severe breakdown in the discs and joints of the spine.

Chiropractic Spinal Reconstruction

The first key is to adjust the subluxated (misaligned) joints to restore normal movement and flexibility to the spine, removing nerve pressure and interference.

The second key is to structurally realign the spine, using directional adjusting and specific exercises.   It is possible to fix postural faults and spinal misalignment in both children and adults!

The third key is wellness care, maintaining the spine in a healthy state.  The daily stresses of life, sitting, standing, sleeping and work postures, slips and falls, and emotional and chemical stresses, continue to affect your spine and body throughout life.   Finding and correcting any new misalignments in the spine, and keeping the spine from returning to the previously damaged state, is the key to maintaining a healthy spine for a lifetime!

Dr. David Asks some important questions of interest to Orleans residents - Chiropractor Orleans Dr. David Asks...

What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Orleans parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
How do most people deal with vertebral subluxations?
First, they try to ignore them. When they don't, they go to the medicine cabinet to stop their brain from feeling the symptom. Later, back surgery may be threatened. Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Orleans chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care.
